and sports, photographed). In 2005 the Oslo municipal administrations of culture
and sport were united in one department under the slogan “Bevege Berike
Bevare” (“move, enrich, conserve”). This mixture of art
and sport has been the topic of much discussion, and even if the slogan covers
both sports and art, one can still sense a false chord - or maybe not? The
well known sports commentator Davy Wathne is enriching this sculpture by commenting
a fictive sports game. His face was filmed while he was commenting a fictional,
compressed football game. He fitted all the ups and downs within a typical
football match within 3 minutes!The musicality and rhythm of the sports commenting
may even give associations to poetry. The sculpture «Bevege Berike Bevare»
was exhibited at the Poetry Festival 2007 at The house of Literature in Oslo.
